Join us for a creative and inspiring art camp experience designed especially for children ages 6–12. Our Nature Inspired Art Camp combines art, creativity, nature, and play in a calm and welcoming environment where children can relax, explore, and express themselves through a variety of hands-on activities.

Hosted at Kinsman Community Center, campers will enjoy a beautiful waterfront setting that provides endless inspiration for creativity and exploration. With access to outdoor spaces, playground time, and outdoor lunch breaks, children will have plenty of opportunities to enjoy fresh air, movement, and connection with nature throughout the day.

Our camp is intentionally designed to be a low-stimulation environment that encourages creativity without pressure. We believe children thrive when they are given the freedom to create, imagine, and explore at their own pace. Whether your child already loves art or is simply curious about trying something new, our camp offers a supportive space where every young artist can feel confident and successful.

Campers will be introduced to a variety of artistic mediums and creative experiences. By exploring many different forms of artistic expression, children are encouraged to discover new interests, build creative confidence, and develop a deeper appreciation for the arts.

Inspired by Nature

Nature serves as a central source of inspiration throughout the camp. The beautiful waterfront surroundings provide opportunities for observation, reflection, and creativity. Children will be encouraged to explore the colours, textures, patterns, and beauty of the natural world while developing their own artistic ideas and perspectives.

Creating, Together & On Their Own

Our program celebrates both individual creativity and teamwork. Campers will have opportunities to work independently on personal projects while also participating in collaborative activities that encourage cooperation, communication, and problem-solving. This balance helps children develop confidence in their own abilities while learning the value of working together as part of a creative community.

More than simply making art, our camp focuses on fostering creativity, self-expression, curiosity, and confidence. Artistic experiences provide children with opportunities to think creatively, take healthy risks, develop resilience, and express their ideas in meaningful ways. We encourage campers to embrace the creative process, celebrate their individuality, and take pride in their unique artistic voices.

A balanced daily schedule allows children to enjoy both focused creative time and opportunities for outdoor play and relaxation. Access to the playground and outdoor lunch breaks helps campers stay refreshed, energized, and engaged throughout the day while promoting overall well-being.

Meet Your Instructor

Our camp is led by a graduate of the University of Toronto’s Art and Art History program and a full-time teacher with extensive experience working with children of all ages. With a strong foundation in both education and the visual arts, our goal is to provide high-quality creative experiences that are engaging, enriching, and age-appropriate.

Children will leave camp with artwork they are proud of, new creative skills, meaningful friendships, and wonderful memories. Most importantly, they will leave feeling inspired, confident, and empowered to continue exploring their creativity long after camp has ended.
